Read the operating coach company's boarding instructions directly. An intercity booking is different from tapping on and off a local bus or tram.

How do I use an online bus booking from Brisbane to Surfers Paradise?
I may book an intercity coach through a third-party site and am unsure whether I need a ticket, a confirmation or a transit card.

Check whether the seller is issuing an actual coach ticket or a booking voucher that must be exchanged. Save the operator name, departure bay and booking reference offline.
