How should a group of eight travel from Brisbane to the Gold Coast when rail works are planned?

Leave a buffer if the journey links to a flight or check-in. Keep one group leader watching service alerts so everyone moves to the same replacement-bus stop.

Ask vehicle providers whether eight passengers and all luggage fit legally and comfortably. A standard people mover may have far less luggage space when every seat is occupied.

Check Translink's journey planner for the exact date; rail closures and replacement stops change. For eight people with bags, compare the total public-transport cost and transfers with a quoted private transfer.
