Should we hire a car for all five nights in South Bank or just for day trips?

My adult daughter and I have four full Brisbane days and may visit Bribie Island, the Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast from our South Bank base.

    Keep the car for the days that actually require it. South Bank and central Brisbane are easier to enjoy on foot, ferry and public transport than with a parked rental.
