Southern Cross Organic Butchery pairs a certified organic, grass-fed counter with a smoking hot in-house burger bar. Pick up thick cuts of Tasmanian Cape Grim beef, seasoned sausages, or marinated chicken for the barbecue at home. Regulars drop in for lunch instead—claiming tables for massive steak burgers, brisket and gravy rolls, or a hot brisket snackpack smothered over chips. You can even choose a raw steak straight from the butcher case and have it grilled to order on the spot.
- House-Smoked Brisket: Smoked low and slow in-house, available packed into rolls with gravy, stacked on burgers, or loaded over chips.
- Organic & Grass-Fed Counter: Display cases feature certified organic cuts, Tasmanian Cape Grim beef, house-made snags, and pre-marinated meats.
- Cook-to-Order Burger Bar: Pick cuts directly from the butchery case to be cooked to your liking, alongside made-to-order burgers and morning rolls.
