Can I book a Brisbane hotel room with a reliable fireworks and flyover view?

I have seen a hotel advertised as having a river view and want to know what to confirm for an event night.

Ask the hotel whether the specific room category faces the current event area, whether the view is unobstructed and whether you can secure that category in writing. A general 'river view' promise is not a fireworks guarantee.
