Cinnamon Edge serves uncompromised Sri Lankan staples in Mount Gravatt East, turning out crisp hoppers and hefty kottu roti. Daytime runs on flat whites and brunch plates, but dusk shifts entirely to island cooking. Diners pack the cozy room for lacy egg hoppers with runny yolks, paired alongside punchy chicken curry and caramelized seeni sambol.     I asked the lady who served us if they made the 'pani ' appe? - the jaggery hopper... (which is not usually on a menu), and surprisingly , she said ...they did! and we ordered that as well... we had quite a wait for it, but I guess that was cos they were really busy with customers and the orders.. but boy! Wasn't that wait worthwhile!! They were absolutely'delicious'!!
