Tucked in a leafy Bardon heritage pocket, Goodfolk Cafe pairs community warmth with garden-grown produce and serious espresso. Mornings unfold on the back porch beside swaying bamboo and raised vegetable patches. Regulars drop in for plates of Turkish poached eggs topped with crunchy falafels and garlic chili oil, paired with cold brews on oat milk or house iced chai. Inside, vintage cross-stitch frames line the walls, leading back toward local pottery shelves and an outdoor table where patrons linger with dogs after a walk across the park. Takeaway drinkers can grab coffee in a donated ugly mug to skip single-use cups, while those dining in take their time over thick sourdough toasts and sweet bakery tarts.

  • Onsite Kitchen Garden: Raised beds out back supply fresh fruit and produce, offering a leafy stroll just beyond the garden tables.
  • Local Ceramics Nook: Tucked toward the rear, a dedicated corner displays and sells handcrafted pottery from area artists.
