Book NowAbout Jeon's Kitchen
Down a sheltered Fortitude Valley alleyway, Jeon’s Kitchen serves scratch-made Korean comfort away from the Ann Street rush. Word travels fast among local noodle seekers for the off-menu jjampong—rich, fire-licked beef bone broth loaded with seafood and simmered only when the owner-chef is working the pass. Crisp fried chicken arrives coated in sticky soy or bright citrus glaze alongside paper-thin chips, ready for a relaxed chimaek session with cold Korean beer. Between orders, Chef Jeon routinely steps out to the floor to walk tables through dining traditions and the craft behind each broth. Dinner winds down over comforting bowls of pork and kimchi stew or tender bossam wrapped in fresh lettuce.
- Laneway Retreat: Tucked into a quiet laneway off Ann Street, offering an intimate respite from Fortitude Valley bustle.
- Citrus & Soy Fried Chicken: Crispy fried chicken in sticky soy or refreshing citrus glaze, served alongside paper-thin chips and cold Korean beer.
- Chef's Special Jjampong: Rich, fire-licked seafood noodles in spicy beef bone broth, prepared exclusively when the chef-owner is on shift.
- Chef-Guided Hospitality: Chef Jeon regularly visits tables to share the stories, craft, and proper traditions behind each dish.

Jjampong
This is one of the most authentic Jjampong that I have tasted in Brisbane. I’m a true Jjampong lover and since I have been in Brisbane, there aren’t as many Korean restaurants that I have been to that serve Jjampong that is authentic to taste. This is a must-try if you love seafood noodles in spicy beef bone broth.
Cass citrus chicken
His citrus chicken is nothing short of world-class, with flavours that are perfectly balanced and incredibly satisfying.
Horopapera Denny beef bibimbap
Just discovered this cute Korean restaurant tucked away in a hidden alleyway. We loved the beef bibimbap and honey soy fried chicken. The attentive and amiable staff made the experience even more delightful.
Evey Liu Bossam
Other than the Jjampong, we also had Bossam (boiled pork belly) as a shared dish which was delicious. Boss Jeon was really friendly and approachable. He taught us how to enjoy the Bossam with the sides - lettuce, fresh chilies and garlic, pickled veg, and ssamjang.

rice cakes with sweet chilli sauce
we tried rice cakes with sweet chilli sauce, bossam, and bibimbap with bulgogi beef, and every dish was fantastic! The rice cakes had a perfect texture - crispy on the outside and moist and chewy on the inside. The sweet chilli sauce was delightful, and the flavors were amazing.
ANGIE GAYEON LEE mochi ice cream
We were given some complimentary mochi ice cream to try which was a great way to finish a beautiful meal.

Delicious! TRY THE CITRUS CHICKEN AND GRILLED EDAMAME !!
Summer Roll soju
Lesson learned, you have to swirl the soju and somehow hit the neck of the bottle… is not my forte… I’ll be back to practice and have more delicious wagyu!
