About Jimboomba House Restaurant

Tucked behind a tree-lined driveway, this converted historic Queenslander delivers relaxed dining with kangaroos grazing just beyond the veranda. Regulars head here for comforting, unpretentious classics—starting with a steaming, crusty cob loaf carved right at the table and smeared with garlic butter. Plates arrive generously heaped, from tender beef cheeks and crisp pork belly to veal scallopini in mushroom wine sauce. Even the kids' table gets real hand-crumbed chicken breast instead of frozen shortcuts. Settle into the candlelight and cap the evening with shards of caramelised toffee cracked over chilled crème brûlée.
