Rex’s Cuisine dishes out deeply comforting Filipino home-style cooking anchored by charred inihaw barbecue and simmered regional classics. Strip mall digs in Acacia Ridge, but regulars treat it like a family dining room. Groups pile tables high with communal platters of smoky pork belly, chicken, and skewers paired with garlic rice, while slow-simmered beef pares, crispy pata, and tangy pork sinigang hit the table piping hot. Meals finish with a tall halo-halo crowned with purple ube ice cream.
