About MOJO

Tucked a block back from the Cooly surf, MOJO flips classic coastal brunch on its head with an Aussie–Indian street-food slant. Regulars bypass standard eggs on toast for folded roti hawkers, spicy mojo bhurji, or avocado salsa loaded over crisp flatbread. Outside tables catch the morning sun while the kitchen churns out coconut dahl and almond croissants alongside espresso and authentic, milk-simmered masala chai.

  • Aussie–Indian fusion breakfast: Subcontinental flavors infuse coastal cafe fare, turning out chicken roti hawkers, mojo bhurji, and savory loaded naan.
  • Scratch-brewed chai & specialty coffee: Traditional masala chai slow-brewed on milk anchors a drink list of espresso coffee and mango lassis.

Had the best avocado salsa on roti with chickpeas for brekky and back for dosa for lunch.

After 4 disappointing coffees from other cafes in Coolangatta while on holiday we found MoJo and finally got an amazing coffee.

  • Scratch-brewed traditional masala chai

Authentic Indian masala chai is slow-brewed to order on milk, delivering rich, traditional spices alongside house beverages like mango lassi.

10/10 masala chai brewed to perfection on milk. Almond croissant was super fresh and even had a masmallow for my little one.

  • Thoughtful celiac and dietary care

The kitchen provides trusted gluten-free care and safe preparation protocols alongside vibrant, nourishing vegan bowls.

I am also celiac and this is the only cafe in the area I feel safe to eat breakfast. The staff take such care with the preparation of my food.
