Birkdale's floral hideaway delivers crisp Japanese-European daytime plates under a canopy of hanging ceiling blooms. Regulars drop in for crunchy karaage benedict and stacked chicken katsu sandos paired with layered strawberry matcha or taro lattes. Afternoon tea spreads roll out with tiered savouries and bottomless tea. By nightfall on select dates, the room pivots to a ramen bar pouring Yoyogi beer alongside slow-simmered pork broth topped with tender char siu.
