At the base of Mantra Crown Towers, Chiangmai Thai steps straight out of Surfers Paradise into northern Thailand. Heavy carved elephant chairs anchor the room while servers in traditional chakkraphat silk navigate private dining huts along a flowing water feature. regulars lean into the generous portions—chilli basil chicken fragrant with holy basil, thick green curry over coconut rice, and Som Tam pounded to genuine street-level heat.
