Golden Palace serves up old-school Chinatown yum cha and live seafood banquets without the usual dining hall clatter. Climb the stairs on Ann Street and you step into a plush, carpeted throwback—white tablecloths, greeting tanks swimming with lobster and mud crab, and calm acoustics that let a table actually talk. Regulars skip the search for circulating carts; every order of prawn dumplings and wok-tossed hor fan arrives made to order, piping hot from the kitchen. Private dining rooms easily take on ten to sixteen guests over crisp turnip cakes, roast duck, and whole steamed fish.

  • Made-to-Order Yum Cha: Dim sum is ordered directly from the menu rather than selected off roving carts, arriving freshly steamed and piping hot.
