Rise Bakery & Restaurant Newstead

given that this place is a bakery and cafe by day, we did not expect it to be a 5 star restaurant by night. but we were wrong. as good as anywhere we have been in Brisbane. Every dish was top quality.

Sitting outside at a lovely table overlooking Breakfast Creek and with 2 musicians on the keyboard and guitar topped the evening off.

They were absolutely wowed by the food, the very friendly staff and the beautiful atmosphere the restaurant has.

For an inner city restaurant this is a fabulous choice. Great food. Good value. Great vibes. Enjoys a lovely valentines banquet.

We stop here during our sunday bike rides and Newmarket walks. You could drive and park along the surrounding streets, but probably most people walk here from the Kingsford Smith bike path or from Newstead Park.

I've always had fast service whether dine in or takeaway (usually takeaway) and the coffee is delish. I don't know what oat milk they use but it makes a great cap! I walk here with my baby in the pram and it is very accessible.
